Designed and built in-house — and built around the people who do the work.
Albacom has launched a new website, and it is the first time our online presence has properly matched the business behind it. New identity, clearer structure, and far more of the technical detail our customers ask for before they pick up the phone.
Products and services now sit where you would expect to find them. Power supplies and power electronics each have their own pages, with specifications, data sheets and environmental ranges up front — the information a design engineer at a defence prime or an industrial OEM actually needs to decide whether we are worth a conversation. Alongside them, the full picture of what we do under one roof in Dundee: mechanical design, CNC machining, sub-contract assembly, vibration and environmental testing, and lifting and load testing.
What matters most to us is who is on it. Every photograph is our own — our engineers, technicians and machinists, in our workshop, with our kit. Named people appear on the service pages they run, and our team profiles are there to be read. Capability at Albacom is not an accreditation on a wall; it is the individuals who turn a drawing into hardware that works, and the new site says so plainly.
Fittingly, the site was designed and built in-house by Patrick, our design engineer. He took on the identity, the structure and the build himself, working through the technical content with the engineers who own it. It is a considerable piece of work, done alongside the day job, and it is a good demonstration of the range of skill we have in the building.

This is the first phase, and more is on the way — including a build optimised for mobile.
Take a look around — and tell us what you would like to see in more detail. We would rather be told than guess.
