As Electronics Design Engineer at Albacom Ltd, Christy works on the design and development of high-voltage power supplies and power conversion solutions for specialist and demanding applications. Working across the full engineering lifecycle, she translate challenging technical requirements into robust, reliable designs, from initial concept and circuit design through to prototyping, verification testing, and product release.
Christy combines detailed engineering analysis, hands-on development, and rigorous testing to ensure products meet exacting performance, safety, and reliability standards. By working closely with customers and the wider engineering team, She helps to deliver high-performance power electronics solutions that address complex technical challenges and support applications where dependable operation is critical.
Our Power Electronics Department specializes in the design and development of advanced power conversion solutions for both civil and defence applications.
Our flagship legacy product is a compact high voltage power supply capable of generating output voltages up to 24 kV. It is based on advanced power electronic switching topologies combined with state-of-the-art high voltage multiplier circuits, delivering high performance, reliability, and compactness for demanding applications.
We also develop custom DC-DC converter solutions, both isolated and non-isolated, tailored to meet specific customer requirements across civil and defence sectors. Our expertise covers high-efficiency, high-reliability power supply designs comparable to industry leading solutions.
In addition, we have experience in the design and development of inverter circuits for motor drive applications, providing efficient and robust power conversion solutions for a wide range of industrial and defence systems.
Our capabilities span the complete product development cycle, from system architecture and circuit design to prototyping, testing, and qualification, enabling us to deliver innovative and application-specific power electronic solutions.
